COOKEN tried it for the VHF Contest, after many years of doing what you have done. Fortunately
we only got it working for the 2M and 70 cm stations. The 6M station remained on the old N3FJP software. On Day 2 when the ops started up on the 2/70cm stations, the software backed up and wiped clean 37 Day 1 QSOs, never to be found again. ie we started Day 2 with a blank log! Luckily, my 6M station continued unaffected, but we lost many points and mults on those other two bands. With the horrible 6M conditions, 2M was surprisingly valuable and productive.

The guys report that there have been many comments about issues with the new software still to be ironed out.
