HI Hank,

Unless it adds value to the contest as a whole, I not one for making
changes.  A special event station likely won't change the ranking of the
participants or increase participation.  Maybe it's fun for the special
event station, but I've been underwhelmed by the scores of many special
event stations in various QSO parties.

I think the best thing we can do is promote the contest by giving
presentations to Ohio clubs at every chance we can get.  I'll start my email
flogging to a list of 300 Ohio clubs/organizations later this month.
