making this a successful outing in spite of the weather. Especially the mobiles
who stuck it out in some rough wx. Kudos to all who showed patience while I
tried hearing between lightning bolts! The W8CAR station was surrounded by
storms for hours and the lightning app on my phone showed strikes as close
as .1 mile. Even when I thought I was safe-it blew up again. I lost 4 and 1/2
hours of op time but the time I was on was great.</DIV>

<DIV>Lesson learned-SSB is where the mults are as I had several nice runs on 80
and 40 and lots of counties and states rolled in-had almost as many SSB mults
with fewer Qs than CW.</DIV>

<DIV>Hope to be mobile again next year but this was fun to do it from the home
station!</DIV>
