<DIV>We are looking for Ohio stations interested as operating as W1AW/8 during
the Ohio QSO Party. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Needed: energetic, personable persons or teams to activate a high
profile, much sought after callsign during the Ohio QSO Party on Saturday,
August 23. Must be able to generate and handle pileups, pleasantly explain the
OhQP to people who are unaware or little aware of the OhQP, encourage them
to work other people in the Ohio QSO Party, and make lots of QSOs.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Since it is likely that multiple stations will be sharing the W1AW/8
duties, one must be able to coordinate schedules and activity with other W1AW/8
operations to avoid more than one W1AW on a band/mode at the same time. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It will not be necessary to share logs over a network with other
stations. We have included a special rule for 2014 that exempts W1AW/8 from
having to use serial numbers, so there will be no issues with conflicting
serial numbers from multiple stations. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>W1AW/8 scores will not be counted toward Ohio club scores. Part time
operations will be considered. You may operate in part as W1AW/8 and in part
with your normal call. Entries under your normal call will count toward Ohio
club scores.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This will be like putting together a jigsaw puzzle. I cannot guarantee
everything to everybody, but I will do my best to fit things
together. </DIV>
