<DIV>As most of you know, W1AW/8 will be operating from Ohio August 20-26,
including during the Ohio QSO Party. Given that many or most people trying
to work W1AW will not be active in the Ohio QSO Party, to simplify things for
the W1AW operations we've decided to not require a serial number for OhQP QSOs
with W1AW/8.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>For QSOs with W1AW/8, just log the received number from W1AW/8 as number 59
or 599. Do log the county, and pay attention: different W1AW/8 operations
may be active from different counties. You may work W1AW/8 again on the same
band/mode from each county, just as if it was a mobile station.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You may still send a serial number to W1AW/8, or not. Just log it as if you
did send that number.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We are also looking for stations who wish to be W1AW/8 ! More info on
that in a separate email.</DIV>
