[OhQP-mail] A Few OhQP Notes

1. At least during the daytime hours, please keep 3545 KHz, +/- a half KHz or so, clear for mobile stations. That way, one will be able to quickly check 3545 and if has activity, it will likely involve a mobile station who will be in a county for only a short time, and may well be a new/rare county. Later at night when there is lot of activity on 80 meters, this will be less critical since everybody, including mobiles. will be spending time on 80 meters. 2. There is (again) a European RTTY contest going on during OhQP. This may result in RTTY QRM around the suggested 40 meter CW frequency of 7045. If so, slide down the band a bit, to 7035 or so, which ought to be more open.
3. Remember that OhQP includes 15 and 10 meters! Even if there isn't much distant activity on those bands, you can still ask other Ohio stations if they can QSY up there for a few QSOs.
